Vasu Kumkumadi Tailam Sugar Scrub Review

As we age, our body’s capability to regenerate cells slows down. And when old skin starts to pile up on the surface, it can clog pores causing acne, blackheads, whiteheads etc and make our skin look dull and dry.

This is why proper exfoliation is important as it helps to remove the dead skin cells. It will even help in our skincare products to penetrate into the skin better.

Exfoliation can be either physical or chemical. I personally prefer physical as you can do it once a week or even twice or whenever your skin feels dull provided you use the right product. It should not be too harsh as it will only do harm to the skin than good by creating micro tears.

Today i am going to review a scrub that is mild, made of natural ingredients and is free from any harmful chemicals.

The Vasu Kumkumadi Sugar Scrub is a made in India product with 40 years of excellence. It is available in 40 different countries. Isn’t that amazing!

The product has benefits of natural exfoliating sugar, natural black sand with traditional beauty recipe Kumkumadi tailam to gently yet effectively slough-off dead skin cells and promote fresh, youthful appearance. Vitamin-E in it acts as an anti-oxidant by neutralizing free radicals, thereby preventing signs of ageing, while keeping skin hydrated, supple and healthy.

It eliminates dirt, grime and sebum, provides intense moiturization and is gentle yet effective. It even helps in reducing fine lines with constant use.

How to use

Step 1: Gently massage sufficient amount on wet face for about 1-2 mins avoiding eyes.

Step 2: Rinse off with water.

Step 3: For best results, Use once or twice a week.

My Experience

The consistency of this scrub is thick with fine sugar and black sand granules which do not feel harsh on the skin at all. When you start massaging it into the skin the sugar particles start melting. It gives you slightly warm sensation and it lasts for some time. This is due to all the blood circulation on the face due to massaging.

I have dry skin and my skin doesn’t feel dry or stretchy after using this scrub.I love my skin after using this scrub as it feels squeaky clean, soft, supple and bright.

In all I would definitely recommend this scrub because it is gentle and has some great ingredients which will work wonders for the skin with constant use.
