Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack Review

I am a sucker for ready made face packs and i blame my busy schedule for that. ‘Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Pack’ has been my favourite for the longest time. You will find it in my vanity at any given point.

Just like Himalaya, Biotique is a brand known for their herbal and chemical free products and who would not want to include herbal products in their routine.

Well recently I decided to test out some of their products and this face pack was one of those.

Packaging:

It comes in a regular white plastic tub with green screw open cap and a plastic lid in the middle to avoid spillage. I would have personally preferred a tube packaging as it is convenient to use and way more hygienic.

Ingredients:

Multani mitti (Fuller’s earth), Geru (Garric), Yasad hhasma (Yasad bhasma), Tamator (Lycopersicum esculentum), Ananas (Ananas comosus), Kikargaund (Acacia Arabica), Paste base Q.S

Price: Rs.199 for 75 gm

My Experience:

I have dry skin and absolutely hate face packs which feel stretchy and make my skin feel parched. I have been using this face pack from quite some time and it definitely doesn’t fall into that category. This face pack claims to lighten and whiten the complexion and reduce pigmentation. I do not care about the lightening and whitening part, but yes reducing pigmentation is what i am looking for and little bit of brightening wont harm either.

The face pack is quite creamy and spreads easily on the face. It is of a pretty pink color and has a strong fruity smell. Nothing that bothers me. It does not take long to dry and dries within 15-20 minutes. And as i mentioned earlier it doesn’t feel stretchy or uncomfortable even when it is completely dry. I feel a slight tingling sensation after i apply it but it goes away soon and is not at all bothersome.

Immediately after washing the skin feels refreshed, soft and slightly brighter. I haven’t seen any drastic change in the acne marks or de-pigmentation on certain areas of my face but every skincare product needs to be given fair amount of time and regular use to show its results.

Summary:

Pros

  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Ayurvedic
  • No parabens or other chemicals
  • Does not dry out the skin
  • Makes skin softer and brighter
  • Affordable

Cons

  • Unhygienic tub packaging

Do i recommend it?

Yes! I really liked this face pack. If you are looking for a something which is natural, affordable and gives you that brightness your skin needs after a tiring day, this should be your pick. Give it enough time and it might even work to reduce your pigmentation.

I hope this review was helpful.
